Reuben Glenny - Managing Director

Reuben has been part of the packaging industry since 1998, starting his career at Afripack (now Constantia Flexibles). After 12 years in the industrial packaging sector, he moved into Afripack's newly acquired consumer flexibles division, where he managed a sales team for three years and deepened his expertise in consumer flexible products and markets. Alongside Afripack's management team, Reuben acquired a 25% shareholding in the company in 2004, which the team went on to sell to Constantia in 2012.

After 15 years with the Afripack group, Reuben was approached to head up sales for Uniprint Labels, South Africa's largest label manufacturer. In four years there, he doubled the label division's turnover.

In 2016, Reuben acquired a majority shareholding in REM Speciality Papers, where he is currently Managing Director.

Reuben has studied printing and paper-making, and holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Wales.

Tanya Reddy - Director

Tanya has been part of the REM story since 2002, bringing over 20 years of hands-on experience in importing and distributing flexible packaging material into South Africa. In 2016, she became a Director of the company, partnering with Reuben to take the helm from REM's founder and guide the business forward.

With a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance and deep expertise across sales, import/export, administration, and finance, Tanya brings both strategic insight and hands-on know-how to everything she does at REM.
